yeah! I just finalized arrangements for my housing when I go out to cali this christmas! the people who own the house will be away so I'll have it to myself for $25 a night - way cheaper than any hotel and way nicer than most student hostels!!! and........
by the way, you will have internet, cable, and free U.S. long distance here. there's also a pool, tennis courts, and a hot tub in our complex (three houses away). they say the pool is heated, but unless you're really sturdy, you might not want to chance it. (I'm coming from Michigan, for chrissakes!) I think you will find that this is the perfect place for a retreat!
cripes, I don't even have cable at home. (I do have a little machine that hangs over the side of the tub and makes bubbles, though!) also it's walking distance to moonlight beach. I may just stay.....
