I was bummed to hear that gordon parks died today. I saw an exhibit of his photography a year or two ago at the Detroit Institute of Arts. the photos were just amazing, and I even noticed some re-curring organic forms in his work that have shown up in little sketches I've done, so I felt pretty special!
